Poney Club du CEMI (6 à 12 ans)
Une activité qui fera vivre de belles aventures à votre enfant dans un environnement sécuritaire et amusant!
Objectifs:
- Apprentissages par le jeu
- Développement des habiletés motrices
- Développement de la concentration et du sens des responsabilités
- Permettre d’établir des liens avec d’autres enfants
- Permettre un contact exceptionnel avec les animaux

Le programme:
- Apprendre à brosser un poney
- Apprendre à curer les pieds
- Apprendre à seller et brider
- Apprendre à manipuler le poney
- Jeux à cheval pour développer les habiletés techniques
- Jeux à cheval pour développer la souplesse et la coordination des aides
- Brevets Petit Trot
Fonctionnement:
- Le parent doit accompagner son enfant
- Le parent doit aider à seller et brider le poney
- Le parent doit tenir le poney durant la leçon durant les débuts du cavalier.
Équipements requis:
- L’enfant doit avoir des pantalons longs et des bottes
- Gants (facultatif)
- La bombe peut être louée au coût de 3$ taxes incluses
IMPORTANT:
- Les parents doivent obligatoirement avoir des souliers fermés (pas de sandales ni gougounes)

What we do (Program/Plan) :
- Learn how to brush a pony
- Learn how to pick up the horse’s feet
- Learn how to tack up a horse for a lesson
- Learn how to handle a pony on the ground
- Play games while riding to ensure a growth of the child’s tecnical skills, flexibility and coordination
- P’tit Trot certificate
How it works :
- The parent has to be with his child at all times
- The parent helps brushing and tacking up the pony with his child
- The parent holds the pony (while his child is riding) during the lesson
Equipment required :
- The child has to wear comfortable pants and boots
- Riding helmet (can be offered as a rental for the amount of 3$/lesson tax included)
- Gloves (optional)
Important :
- Parents must wear adequate footwear (closed shoes or boots). No sandals or flip flops will be allowed.
P’tit Trot pour les enfants
P’tit Trot est un programme d’apprentissage destiné aux enfants de 5 ans et plus qui aiment les chevaux ainsi que les poneys et qui veulent en prendre soin et apprendre les bases de l’équitation.
P’tit Trot is a learning program for kids aged 5 years and older who love taking care of horses, learning the horseback riding basics’ and want to improve their knowledge.

Le livre P’tit Trot est entièrement illustré. Les dessins colorés et les notes humoristiques de P’tit Trot aident l’enfant à découvrir l’ABC du comportement du cheval, des soins à lui apporter, de l’attitude à avoir, ainsi que les bases de l’équitation dans un environnement sécuritaire.
L’enseignant aide l’enfant à acquérir toutes les notions présentées dans chaque chapitre du livre. L’enseignant valide les connaissances acquises en remettant à l’enfant un certificat pour chaque niveau atteint : fer de bronze, fer d’argent, fer d’or, fer de platine.
The P’tit Trot is totally illustrated. The colorful drawings and funny notes help children discover everything they need to know about the horse’s behaviours, basic needs and care as well as how to ride in a safe environment.
The instructor will guide the child through all the chapters of the book and help him learn the theory to reach all the levels. The instructor will give a certificate for every level achieved : copper shoe, silver shoe, gold shoe and platinum shoe.
